

Students from Mar Vista High School, in Imperial Beach (CA), have learned how to use Particulate Matter (PM) air sensors and photovoice techniques to demonstrate the impact of pollution in their city.
The pollution coming from the Tijuana River is a public health crisis affecting their lives every single day and their lived experience was used to advise the Institute's scientists on what aspects to further investigate.
